# Worked example: Cedar Workshop
Fictional training example. No client work or business results are implied.

## Brief
Audience: local homeowners seeking cabinet repairs.
Task: explain the repair and request a reply.
Primary action: send a short enquiry.
Scope: home, work examples, contact. No online payment in this example.
Success evidence: a marked test enquiry reaches the agreed inbox and a reply
returns to a controlled test email address.

## Sample review findings
These are invented findings demonstrating how to record a review.

- PASS: enquiry fields are labelled; optional phone number is identified.
- FAIL: confirmation says a staff member has reviewed the request, but the
system only accepted the form. Owner: editor. Action: change the wording
to describe receipt accurately and agree next-step guidance.
- NOT CHECKED: delivery to the inbox. Owner: inbox manager. Action: arrange
a marked test and confirm delivery before describing this as verified.
- NOT CHECKED: keyboard operation. Owner: reviewer. Action: complete a
keyboard-only pass and record any blocked controls.

## Handoff practice
Task: change the opening hours, preview, publish, verify and restore them.
Record whether the owner can complete each step, rather than simply recording
that documentation was delivered.

## Launch decision
Hold until message delivery and the primary task are verified. A polished
page does not resolve a broken enquiry path.
